Help me, San Franciscans!

I need a recommendation for a good, won’t-cheat-me camera repair place.
This evening in a fit of something I decided I really need to start using my Minolta X-370N again. It’s been sitting in various closets for the last 4 years when it experienced a short-lived adventure during some classes at Academy of Art. Before that it sat in different closets after I was through taking pictures for high school and college yearbooks.

I need some special/out of use capacitator to get my baby working again. I don’t want to spend a lot of money since this is basically a whim, but I’d love to get it spiffy and working again. J-me has mentioned wanting to borrow it and I am a bit short tempered with my elph’s evil flash/low light abilities.

I’m not positive they do repair, but I’m sure they could recommend someone who does… Adolph Gasser on 2nd street (ugh, what a horrible name). They seem to be the authority on cameras in SF.

adolph gasser? i can’t remember the real name of it. murray goes there all the time. they seem to know what they’re doing. and they had reasonable prices for their used stuff. so i can only assume

    thank you, ladies!

i hadn’t even thought of A.G. but you’re right – they are pretty reasonable in regards to used things, so maybe i’ll head over there and ask for some advice or a recommendation.

now i feel like a dork for not thinking of them earlier (i used to go there and drool over ridiculous tripods during lunch hours)
