2003, Only the positives

I got halfway through filling out that 2003 meme/survey before I got frustrated and couldn’t finish. My brain is mush.
Here’s the particularly good milestone type stuff I remember, in no real order:

Heather had a baby: Wilhelmina Indigo Dooley
Elizabeth came for a short but sweet visit
Becca got married, I gained a brother in law
Jaime found her perfect wedding dress; set a date for wedding
I started my last year of undergrad
Doug graduated from Law School
Wanda & Ben and Mitch & Wendy got married
My parents moved to Oregon and my grandpa soon followed
Doug and I moved into a neat, neat building
Two wonderful vacations (So.Cal and Oregon)
A very nice Thanksgiving at the coast with my family
Jaime got medicine and it was good, not bad
Doug passed the CA Bar
I got an A in a math class
Doug got a job and a car, a car and a job!

Tonight I’m bringing in 2004 in low-key style. So much has happened in the last week that I’m ready for a quiet gurgle instead of a big shout. 2003 was a wonderful, fruitful year. I’m hoping 2004 will be a year of (positive) change and growth for myself and for loved ones near and far.

    Umm, thank you.
In reality, we barely know each other. But I admire you, and reading your words enabled me to pull my head out of my ass enough to try to have a good evening with friends rather than a sad evening alone.

    Have a wonderful 2004.
