I hate inside jokes and codenames
I had no idea it was National Library Week until Rockstar* mentioned it on the phone. Someone needs to remove my librarian crown or something.

* I’ve decided I really need to make better use of clever nicknames for people; Rockstar is a friend by way of lovely dusty_chenille (who I will now nickname MC Loving, or is that going too far with the nicknaming?); I have also dubbed a dubious coworker Blonde Ambition. Watch this space for more nicknames, people. If you want one, shoot me a comment and I’ll work one out.

It should be National Jen Week. I do really miss you and Sherman’s/ Movies nights… it was a brief time but I would have wilted completely in the desert without you. I have been a bad girl though with not keeping in touch

I think of you, too. I know it was a baddish saddish time for both of us, but I also know we got each other through it, yeah? It’s like we were in ‘nam together, except not.

April 13, 2005You already have one, and I’m afraid it’s not very original…you’ve been Actor Boy for forever, or since 1995 or so. As in “You know, David? Actor Boy?” Sometimes your nickname is suffixed with “from Florida” – but not always. I believe I have also refferred to you, in certain circles, as Fishnet Ripper, but we don’t have to go there.
Since Jack Black came on the scene you’ve also been referred to as Jack Blacky Actor Boy at times. I could upgrade you to Actor Man if you feel that would command more respect. Or we could try on The Director for size. If you want to stay away from profession related nicknames, you could be Capt Ivar’s Sidekick since I always have a mental image of you sitting with that Ivar’s statue down at the docks in Seattle.
