Tales of the Unexpected

I feel like the world is just handing me presents left and right! Rumsy stepping down ON TOP of this awesome Democratic turnover? The fact that it’s sunny out when it’s supposed to be raining? Great work stuff happening left and right? It really feels too good to be true, but not in that awful way when you’re waiting for something to go wrong.

Jaime’s visiting this weekend and I’m about to jump out of my skin I’m so excited. She’s going to get to meet the very awesome S. who is shaping up to be much more than I was looking for out of a fella (in the most delightful ways). Will wonders never cease? Apparently it’s my birthday half a year early.
