Liar, Liar, Card Catalog on Fire

I lied when I said I was going to the ballet tonight. I made an assumption, which as you know, makes asses out of everyone involved. Instead I’m going to see a musical theater production called Must Don’t Whip ‘Um.

 Here’s a fantastic little snippet from a Gothamist review, emphasis added by me:

Her disarmingly natural stage presence exudes an intelligence as fierce as it is endearing. And that goes double for her singing, which commands a room with the guile of a sly librarian who acts surprised when her cooing sets the card catalog ablaze.

Needless to say, I’m excited.

 UPDATE 5/5: The show was great! Read some reviews on the On the Boards’ Blog the Boards. Tonight is the last night they are playing, so I recommend you get your hiney down there if you can.
