Vanity

Today I got contact lenses and on the way to work I stopped for a pedicure. I feel so vain, but it’s not a bad feeling. My toes are fancy and shiny and they look very nice in my wedge sandals. My eyes feel kind of itchy, and I keep trying to push up non-existant glasses.

The optomitrist couldn’t quite believe I’d not worn contacts before, and it was a bit scary putting my finger into my eye, but other than that they seem to be working well. I’m very excited about the eyeshadow possibilities, as well as the ability to wear cheapy sunglasses as opposed to expensive perscription ones.

Long live bare eyes and red toenails!
