Pizza for Everyone

A guy on death row asked for his final meal to be pizza for local homeless populations. The prison didn’t comply, but many local and non-local citizens did. One woman even donated $1,200 in pizza. This warms my heart.

Philip Workman, 53, requested that his final meal be a vegetarian pizza donated to any homeless person located near Riverbend Maximum Security Institution.

The bad part is that the guy was still executed (for the death of a cop in an armed robbery in 1981), making this story a sad one, too.
