So here’s the deal. I really like sweet and salty things mixed together, and I’ve yet to find a singular snack that addresses this craving; instead, I’ve made up my own snacky snacks. Some are better than others, and here are my top 2 for the last 6 months:
Mix #1
2 parts Bearitos brand White Cheddar popcorn (I love it because it’s not too strong and tastes pretty close to homemade popcorn) mixed in a bowl with 1 part Trader Joe’s candied pecans
Mix #2 (slightly more healthy, nice mix of crunchy and chewy)
2 parts Trader Joe’s Multigrain Pretzels (the little cube-y ones with sesame seeds on the outside) mixed in a bowl with 1 part Trader Joe’s strawberry soft “Australian” licorice
If you have your own food/snacky mashups, especially something I can snack on while I’m reading, please send them my way – I’m always up for trying something bizarre but tasty.

peanuts and candy corn. You have to find your own happy ratio of peanut to candy corn but it IS tasty
