It’s 74° and sunny here

Sky and I snuck over to the Harvard Exit to see Savage Grace in the midst of Pride weekend. We weren’t expecting too much, just some pretty scenery and a cool theater. Man, what a movie! Not recommended if you are easily made uncomfortable by awkward and sexual scenes on film. If you can handle that, I think you should drop everything and go see this film immediately. The editing was absolutely pitch perfect and the location shots were sweeping and gorgeous.

The movie is a biopic/true telling of a strange tale: that of the Baekland family, heir to the Bakelite forture and all around Richie McRichiesons. And Social McSnottinesses. And Crazy McWildhairs. I won’t tell you more, because I hate knowing before a movie; if you DO like knowing before you watch, read this.

The weather has been gorgeous here. We’ve been scooting everywhere. I’ve been wearing poofy dresses a lot, so I can feel a little Roman Holiday-y on the back of the scooter. I think I may be getting one of my own soon. Sky is going to start giving me back of the alley and parknig lot lessons. You can’t beat $2 of gas/week!

One of my favorite bloggers, Jessica, is in the middle of propagating one of the most awesome memes ever — Chuck Klosterman’s 23 questions to help him decide if he could truly love you (the Klostermeme) — go check it out HERE. I promise you will not be sorry; the questions have lead to many interesting conversations in the last few days.

I need some ice cream, catch you later.
