Catching up with…

I have a Post-It note, and I’m not afraid to use it.

BUMBERSHOOT
We saw Sherman Alexie and Ellen Forney putting on a tribute to Hall & Oates, which was pretty much the high point of the festival. Neko Case’s voice could reach Nebraska without a microphone; Beck’s sound system sucked; Man Man! was amazing and loud.

WEDDING
Jennifer and Rob got married, on a boat, and it was so much fun and very romantic and silly at the same time — I think this photo (though blurry) does justice to the entire night – colorful, glamorous, dancy:

ANDY
My 22 year old cousin Andy came to visit and it was awfully nice. He’s all growed up! He made us dinner and looked at colleges and we had political discussions. It kind of blew my mind.

Now that I look at it, this Post-It note is pretty out of date since I think I wrote it oh…last Monday. However, there’s a bad cover station playing right now (“When I See You Smile” sung all soulful like), I’ve had a long day, and I’m just not sure I can summon the brainpower to write a NEW Post-It, much less an actual blog post…
