Next Stop, Greenwich Village (1976)

An overly-dramatic yet charming little portrait of 1950s Greenwich Village, seen through the eyes of a struggling Jewish actor, recently moved from Brooklyn. Beatnicks, auditions, and delis, oh my!

BONUS: There’s a young and very awkward Christopher Walken in this film, so you may want to get it on that merit alone.
