Screw you, Easter Lily!*

Both of our super loved kitties are very sick right now. They ate some Easter Lily, which is insanely toxic to cats. We got it away from them quickly but not before they got some of it in their systems. They are both in kitty cat ICU right now getting fluids and hopefully avoiding kidney failure. We’ll know more tonight. If you’re a kitty lover, think good kitty thoughts for these two.

    O no! No no no! I am so sorry to hear this and thinking my very best kitty thoughts.

    (Zen got into some calla lilies last week … what a horrible coincidence.)

    I know, isn’t that weird? Our friends’ dog also ate bad stuff: half a cake and 12 cookies! Luckily the owners made a last minute decision to use white chocolate in the cookies instead of dark. Poor animals :(
